Ribcap is a Belgian company that provides head protection for people with neurological disorders so they can live active lives safely and carefree.

Our Ribcaps are handmade in Europe from high-quality materials that meet strict safety standards. The raw materials also come from Europe and production takes place in the center of Europe. This makes our product unique and of high quality.

Our mission is to give people with reduced mobility self-confidence and an active life without fear of head injury. By doing so, we help them regain their independence, improve their quality of life and face new challenges with confidence. We want to break stereotypes by offering fashionable helmets to those who need them. We strive for an inclusive society where everyone can function with mobility aids.

The foam used in our products is tested by the British Standards Institute (BSI), an official notified body.

Our Ribcap Helmets

Our Ribcap helmets offer 360° head protection and each Ribcap is made of impact-resistant, breathable foam. Our fashionable head protectors are designed to prevent head injuries from uncontrolled falls or sequential movements. They provide protection against low-to-medium injury risk falls thanks to the shock-absorbing foam padding. The top of the head is completely enclosed by this padding.

Layer 1

Base Layer

Coolmax is a soft, comfortable and lightweight base layer. This makes the helmet comfortable and breathable. The fabric wicks away moisture and provides ventilation.

Layer 2

Foam

This is the soft, micro-perforated foam in the form of several pads. Between each pad there is ventilation to keep your head cool. The soft foam can withstand repeated impacts, providing protection.

Layer 3

Outer Layer

This is the fabric on the outside of the helmet and defines the style. This layer ranges from wool to cotton and can be any color of the rainbow. Choose your style!
